Using items for purposes other than intended always fascinates me.

This is the belt for an artistic clear plastic raincoat that I made for a charity auction (it went for close to $200.00).

The belt loops you see at either side are carved ivory drawer handles that came off of antique furniture.

the piece symbols are constructed of steel and brass rods that are welded together.

I am planning to make a similar clear vinyl raincoat with cabinet handle belt buckles, but also with fiber optics and light emitting diodes.

Due to the retirement of one of my reliable sources, as well as major time committments; I am unable to accept any commissions for work. This site is here only as documentation to share my artistic work.
